This set of exercises is intended to make you more aware of
the impact of holding onto those areas and things within our
lives that are no longer productive.
Opening to The Mother
Active Engagement
Think back to a time when you felt truly
nurtured, loved and cared for. Was it through the sense of
touch, of sight, of a familiar smell of a favorite food
being prepared lovingly for you? Try to recreate these
feelings and senses as accurately as possible.

For the next two weeks, each day create
an opportunity to express this cared for feeling to
someone you know.

For the
following two weeks, each day randomly select someone
you don't know and do something thoughtful for that
person. Because of the added element that they do not
know you, this will probably take the person by
surprise. Be creative, and see how a random act of
kindness can share a feeling of being "cared for".

Finding Your Place of
Understanding
There are frequently
times when we wish we had said or done something differently
when confronted with a person or certain situation. These
thoughts come in hindsight and many times, if we think more
deeply on the situation, clues and other levels of
understanding come to the front that were completely missed
in the energy of the exact moment.
Reflecting on these
additional bits of information may not change the outcome,
but they do offer opportunities for a greater level of
understanding, both about the nature of our response
mechanisms and also about the person or situation that
arose. Becoming aware of these energetic patterns, we can
then choose to hold onto what is of productive nature and/or
abandon those responses that are limiting and blinding to
the truths being presented.

Now,
seeing through the the clarity and caring nature of
Binah's right action, write down the information you
wish you had been aware of that would have changed your
response. Make a list of those things that if you had a
deeper understanding of their nature would have either
changed your opinion, or in thinking more deeply- would
have caused you do give greater emphasis in a particular
direction.
